Watch the video above to see ALL the yummy eats from Toronto!
When I was in Toronto in August 2017, I was on a mission to eat all the delicious vegan food. After all, Toronto is usually listed as one of the most vegan friendly cities in the world. After my experience, I can definitely say there is no doubt in my mind that it is indeed one of the best when it comes to vegan options and vegan food.
Watch the video above to see some of the awesome meals I had in Toronto along with some desserts… Some healthy, some NOT SO HEALTHY AT ALL.
Here are some of the highlights:
Vegan pizza by the slice, vegan corn dogs and vegan donuts… what more could you possibly want out of life? Seriously though, this is a vegan junk food lovers dream. This place was consistently recommended as one of the MUST TRY vegan places in Toronto and for good reason. I actually ended up visiting this place twice because it was so good.
I highly recommend trying their pizzas for SURE and also their corn dog which… legit tastes like a corn dog. Corn dogs used to be my ultimate guilty pleasure pre-vegan. I would always get corn dogs at amusement parks as a treat. Now I need to go all the way to Toronto, apparently!
The pizzas by the slice are SO delicious and they have so many unique pizza slices. You definitely must try this place if you ever end up going to Toronto.
This affordable and delicious vegan Vietnamese restaurant is definitely also a must try in Toronto. This is located in the trendy Kensington Market, which you are sure to visit, so why not drop by here! The food is delicious, authentic tasting and very affordable. I was sad i didn’t get to come here another time.
After two weeks of eating tons of junk food and devouring pizza slices, I was craving something healthy on my last day in Toronto. With two friends, I decided to go to Fresh, which is a vegetarian restaurant focusing on healthy dishes and juices. I got this delicious bowl with tempeh, sweet potato and just all kinds of goodness. It was filling, delicious and felt very healthy. I definitely will come back to this place if I go back to Toronto.
